Allow me to elaborate about the LOL Kittahs for a moment and how much I love them. In fact, LOLcat is one of the originating inspirations for this site, who’d a thunk?
Backstory: I had been trolling and collecting what has become known as the LOLcats for over a year in the OT “I’m in UR…” on the NASIOC Forum. Last count, I had over 250 captioned LOL jems. I’ve spent more than my fair share of time laughing, sharing, laughing some more…repeatedly…until my stomach hurt, AND finding myself say “man, I <3>
After many a time in which I kept saying how much I love the internet, I eventually figured I should do something with that, and this site was born.
Anyhoo, back to now…. so, these days, thanks to sites like I Can Has Cheezburger LOL Kittah is now becoming a documented phenomenon (learn to make a LOLcat pic here or here and speak lolcat here), and seems to be hitting a tipping point, as rather than pushing LOL Kittahs to my friends, they’re now pushing them to me, not to mention speaking to me in LOL Kittah pretty regularly. Also, YouTube compilation vids are popping up and there’s wikis and commentary…and more commentary.
Great stuff, and yet again why I love the internet.
One of my next steps here will be looking for why you love the internet. Installments and stories coming soon from other sources. For now, I’ll keep posting all the cool things I find or get sent to me. Let me know if you’d like to contribute!

i <3 teh interwebs
Why you might ask? At the core, it's really just because it's cool, rad and great! (thanks Andrew)
Cool, 'cause all the information available and people I can meet.
***like how to make Snickerdoodles on Wikipedia and making friends in other countries***
Rad for all the entertainment available anytime I'm online.
***like the this web2.0 vid on YouTube***
and
Great for all the commerce and stuff I can get
***like that great book or cool camera lens, or whatever else!***
Of course, there's also the mash-up of all these elements which transends the awesomeness of any one component alone. Like when they all collide in the form of my friend from another country bidding on EBay on an old version of Atari Mouse Trap and sending it to me as a birthday present!
Might I call that Life 2.0?
